Even My Daughter Forgot (And She Has Every Reason Not To)

Even My Daughter Forgot (And She Has Every Reason Not To)

A Note from the CEO:
Even My Daughter Forgot (And She Has Every Reason Not To)

I have to share a moment from the other night that made me laugh, then think, then immediately get up and do something about it.

I was in my daughter’s room having a conversation when I noticed the red warning light flashing on her WellisAir unit. I asked her, “How long has this been empty?” She looked over, shrugged, and said, “Oh, I didn’t realize. I’ll get to it.”

My daughter. The one who suffered a severe mold toxicity illness and missed an entire year of high school because of it. She looked at that blinking red light and said, “I’ll get to it.”

If that doesn’t perfectly capture the human condition, I don’t know what does. We’re all busy. There are a hundred things competing for our attention, and one more task, even a small one, can feel like a mountain.

Here’s what I did. I paused our conversation, walked to the refrigerator, grabbed a cartridge, came back to her room, popped the old one out, unscrewed the cap, and slid the new one in.

Total time: 60 seconds.

That’s it. Sixty seconds from “I should do this” to “done.” Her WellisAir was back to producing the powerful hydroxyls that destroy contaminants at the molecular level. Just like that, her room was protected again.

If my own daughter, someone who lived through what bad air can do, can let that red light blink without acting on it, then none of us are immune. It’s not laziness. It’s life getting in the way of the things that matter most. That night reminded me that replacing a cartridge isn’t just a task. It’s a 60-second health habit that deserves a permanent spot in our routines.

The Easiest Fix: Stock Up

My recommendation is simple, and it’s the same thing I do in my own home: always keep at least one extra cartridge per unit in your refrigerator. When that red light appears, you won’t have to order one and wait. You’ll walk to the fridge, swap it out in 60 seconds, and move on with your day.

WellisAir cartridges last up to 18 months when stored in the refrigerator. Purchase 2, 3, or even 4 at a time, lock in the deepest multi-pack savings, and you’ll always have the liquid gold that fuels your unit’s hydroxyl production ready to go.

I share this story (with my daughter’s permission) because I know that if it happened in my house, it’s happening in yours. The difference between protected air and unprotected air is 60 seconds and one cartridge. Let’s make sure that cartridge is always within arm’s reach.

Stock up today. Your lungs will thank you.
